Your Job:

  • Lead and coach a team of product engineers to conduct product yield ramp up for new or existing product/new technology introduction.

  • To work with fab and customer for product yield goal setting.

  • Identify possibility of yield gain for baseline yield improvement.

  • Daily review wafer sort or final test yields, surface low yield issue or quality issues. Perform detail data analysis using various statistical/data mining tools to identify low yield root cause.

  • Closely work with Process Integration and Process & Equipment engineer to provide timely yield feedback to enable fast yield ramp to mature.

  • Applying knowledge of semiconductor device, electronics, process and design, to work out fail mechanism of yield issues and drive low yield issue fixing.

  • Prepare detail and clear yield indices and reports/pareto of yield deviation to the Fab team to provide the direction of process improvements.

  • Prepare and present reports to customers in routine or adhoc meeting.

  • Working with yield management system team for new yield analysis method development and implementation to continue improve YE efficiencies.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and program

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master Degree, preferred in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Possess good teamwork skills and strong multi-tasking capability.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and applications including JMP.

  • At least 10 years’ experience in semiconductor industry with strong knowledge of Fab process, good analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Possess experience in SEM, FIB, and emission microscope will be value-added.
