Why This Role
The role is based in Penang, Malaysia.As the ideal candidate, you willmanage IP impact assessment within a committed timeline based on GF process development kit roadmap to ensure all developed or developing IPs are meeting quality requirements and customer’s IP usage experience is seamless when change occurs without incurring any or more investment.
What You Will Do
Program management/coordinating IP development contracts
Align and finalize contract contents with IP partners and internal stakeholders for legal signage
Drive closure on IP design review and Test Chip design review with IP partners and internal stakeholders during IP
development phase
Support IP partner in successful IP Test Chip tape out process including waiver for design rule and DFM with Fab
Align on wafer re-start, schedule reset, customer support and related IP end to end logistical matters
Conduct operation review meeting with IP partners and senior management team
Drive continual improvement productivity and efficiency projects
Maintain SOP workflow documentation and preparation for audit
What You Will Need
Bachelor/master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or equivalent
Minimum 8 years working experience in IC design field
Knowledge of relevant IC design and simulation tools (Spice or its equivalent)
Knowledge in IC process and layout design
Good interpersonal skill, tactful, resourceful, possess initiative, attention to details, well organized and good presentation skills
Able to work independently with good planning skills. Must be tasked oriented and deliver task with quality and committed to delivery
Exposure to project management with global stakeholders in fast paced and dynamic industry
A team player - collaborative and resourceful
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global stakeholders
Adaptable to change, ability to reconcile timely and move on
