Job Description

INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE

Looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our growing Water Solutions business in Singapore. You are a B2B expert with strong inter-personal connections with distributors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and end-users within the water industry. You are equipped with wide portfolio knowledge ranging from Ultrafiltration (UF) / Reverse Osmosis (RO) / Ion Exchange Resins (IER). 

This role also requires you to work collaboratively across various functional teams. You will be reporting to Regional Commercial Manager, while also working closely with Marketing Manager and Technical Manager to be successful in this role.  

YOUR RESPONSIBIITIES

  • Develop and strengthen relationship and partnership with strategic accounts
  • Provide accurate business forecast with consistent sales achievement 
  • Develop key account plans with strong follow up and execution of sales and technical consultation 
  • Utilize sales tools and CRM to track and nurture sales leads at various stages 
  • Work closely with commercial and marketing team to:
  • provide competency analysis, market research, competition assessment, and customers projects/business reviews
  • identify market trends and growth opportunities, and align business strategy with voice of customer 
  • identify and discover white space in the market 
  • bring innovative products to key prospects   
  • identify effective route to market 
  • Optimize channel structure to maximize ROI and explore new projects 

YOUR EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 

  • 8 years of business experience in water industry, with experience in sales, marketing, business development, technical services 
  • Proven sales and account management track record 
  • Strong communicator, presenter, and negotiator  
  • Great interpersonal and engagement skill with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Collaborators to work cross organization and geography 
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and discipline
