Job Description

Your Impact:

Jacobs China Limited’s consultancy services offered include feasibility studies, investigation, design, contract administration and site supervision of all areas of civil, highway, railway, geotechnical and building engineering. Other services include asset management and risk assessment, building surveying and structural maintenance, quality assurance, conservation and restoration, project management and forensic engineering.

About the opportunity: 

Our 3-Month internship programme offers you the chance to gain invaluable exposure to the engineering industry that can give you a competitive edge and help get your career off to a flying start. With us you will get a taste of how the Engineering Department of a world-class consultant operates, as well as the chance to tour exciting site inspections. During the programme, you will receive a series of briefings from Halcrow engineers on a range of geotechnical topics.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

To be considered for a place in our internship program, you'll need to possess:

  • Sufficient knowledge in Geotechnical Engineering

  • High Diploma students currently enroll and majoring in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline 

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Mandarin is preferred but not required

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal abilities

  • Creativity and strategic thinking

  • Availability and commitment to work the full-time in 3-month internship programme

Conditions: You must have working rights in Hong Kong to be considered. Appointments will be made in contract term with Jacobs China Limited in accordance with the prevailing Government’s terms and conditions. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
