Collaborating with a team of designers and engineers as a design SME (Subject Matter Expert), you’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors, designing some of the world’s most advanced facilities. You’ll design and draft mechanical systems for construction, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing and Fire Protection. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful. 

At this level you will be expected to have developed advanced proficiency in a range of processes and procedure through prior project training and work experience.  You are able to work independently with a limited degree of supervision and facilitate the work activities of others.  You solve complex problems and propose improvements to processes and methods.  You are expected to serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced designers and junior engineers.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Preferably degree in Engineering or equivalent, technical or associate degree in relevant field or high school graduate with proven experience in AutoCAD or similar software design, experience working in building mechanical systems and equipment, NavisWorks, Revit design.

Ideally, you need to have a strong communication skills both verbal and written, strong problem-solving skills, forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.

You also need to display ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base, ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, able to lead resolution of complex design problems with minimum supervision, experience mentoring junior designers and engineers on good design and construction practices and Industrial design experience of high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, data centers, or similar.
