Job Description
- Develop, negotiate and conclude crude and condensate sales and purchases for upstream and downstream businesses
- Manage commercial activities such as exchanges, freight and optimization of system assets
- Develop new business and origination opportunities including marketing of equity crudes
- Use tools including derivatives to manage risks • Assess customers’ credit terms and availability, negotiate payment terms, title transfers and all key contract items to achieve closure
- Network and maintain relationship with market players i.e. producers, refiners, traders and end-users to keep abreast of market developments and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field from a recognized university
- Minimum eight years of working experience in crude oil and/or condensate trading
- Excellent knowledge of trading book structure and use of risk management tools
- Strong leadership skills and able to work well in teams • Excellent understanding of global oil markets and refining
- Able to analyze market data (strong analytical skills) and proven ability to identify commercial opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Able to travel at least once a quarter within the Asia Pacific region
