As a Civil Structural Inspector (Solar) , you’ll join our collaborative team, who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo.
The experienced individual should have relevant experience in Solar Projects /constructions related to civil engineering and/or industrial sites. The Civil Structural Inspector (Solar) will ensure that all environmental, health, and safety rules are followed thru during site work and if necessary, to take immediate action.
In addtion you will
- Coordinate civil subcontractor work with the Jacobs site manager.
- Monitor correctness of civil construction activities by enforcing the Quality Assurance Plan
- Participate in site (solar) meetings to optimize site civil construction activities and coordinate with various contractors working in the same site.
- Assess civil construction progress and act pro-actively to avoid delays in the schedule.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
A Diploma in Civil Engineering, with relevant experience in earthworks, site levelling, infrastructure (drainage, roads, buildings).
In addition, you will;
- Inspect the works carried out and ensure quality of the works meets the project requirements
- Skillsets should include earthworks, site leveling, infrastructure (drainage, roads, building)
- Structural experience is not a must have, but a definite advantage.
