Job Description

The DuPont Electronics & Imaging business is seeking a business communications manager to support its Semiconductor Technologies portfolio. The Semiconductor Technologies (ST) business group serves the integrated circuit (IC) fabrication market, with a deep customer focus, advanced technologies and global reach. The ST Business Communications Manager will be responsible for global content strategy across external and internal audiences, serving as a regional communications focal point, and delivering marketing communications to support business goals. 

 
Key responsibilities for this role include: 
 
  • Partnering with subject matter experts and executives on a thought leadership strategy, including managing an editorial calendar and collaborating with an agency partner to develop and publish new content aligned to market trends and business priorities
  • Product marketing communications, including collaborating with marketing teams to develop product literature, managing and developing new website content, trademark management and adherence, and new product naming as part of overall brand strategy and architecture
  • Developing employee communications to share stories on recognition, business culture, events and product launches
  • Coordinating a limited number of customer events and tradeshows with show partners and/or vendors, including creative design and production of tradeshow booths/signage, promotional items, and other event materials, and working directly with event hosts on any advertising/sponsorships
  • Serving as communications counsel for local business leaders, including consulting with and preparing them for media interviews, employee town halls, and customer events
  • Developing messaging strategy for product launches, change communications, events and media
  • Preparing press releases, ensuring appropriate style, reviews and identifying distribution; serving as a first point of contact for media inquiries
  • Managing any crisis communications needs within the country in collaboration with regional and business teams
  • Serving as a steward of the DuPont brand and ensuring all marketing communications adhere with corporate brand guidelines
  • Providing guidance and support for special events in the region including investor events, senior leadership visits, and local town halls in partnership with the global Electronics & Imaging communication team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of relevant communications experience, including demonstrated capabilities in B2B marketing communications
  • Excellent written and oral command of the English language
  • Ability to work and thrive in a diverse global cross-cultural team
  • Experience partnering with and managing outside vendors/agencies
  • Familiarity with digital marketing practices, including knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and social media marketing
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Confidence in issues management and handling crisis communications
  • A level of business acumen to provide ease in developing communications that include basic financial reporting, market dynamics, operational discipline, and potentially sensitive employee communications
  • Leadership presence, confidence to work with senior leaders as a consulting partner and to deliver communication materials
