About the opportunity

As the Sales & Growth Lead, you will continue the development and implementation of strategies to aggressively grow our Asia business through focused growth of market share with our chosen relationship clients, expansion of our suite of services for those clients, increasing our conversion rate on key opportunities through early and strategic positioning on our key pursuits and supporting the execution of our growth strategies across the region. Critical to our success will be continuing to apply a global mindset to sales strategies and pursuits so we are leveraging Jacobs demonstrated global expertise across a number of key sectors and ensuring that global approach results in regional outcomes in the form of business growth and bottom line.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate capability in growing existing mature market sectors and also in developing an "emerging market" strategy that assesses where Jacobs can position itself to win major programs in areas where Jacobs currently only has a limited presence, and build support for this strategy within the various internal stakeholder and delivery groups to see the strategy delivered.

Key selection criteria for this position include the demonstrated ability to:

  • Promote a culture whereby the principles of Jacobs Beyond Zero, Values & Business Ethics are embedded in our teams and recognised by our clients.

  • Develop and articulate a sales and growth strategy to grow Jacobs’ market share in ESEA in line with APME growth agenda.

  • Lead the development of a robust pipeline of prospects as measured in gross margin bookings through converting prospects and leveraging repeat business.

  • Demonstrate exceptional business leadership and people management skills that align with Jacobs’ cultural priorities. Attract, retain and develop top sales talent. Keep the right people and nurture them along the way
