What You'll Do

Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) is a unique program of Cisco. It is strategic partnership with national leadership to accelerate the national digitization agenda and create new value for the country, its businesses, and its citizens. We modernize national infrastructure; foster innovation, skills, and education; create new jobs and digitize public services, while ensuring security.


The APJC South CDA Subregional Lead is responsible for program management, execution & success delivery of the CDA program in the APJC South region, namely India, ASEAN & ANZ. You will work closely with the local Cisco country CDA execution leads, country leaderships, Finance, legal and other supporting functions in ensuring the country program are running securely & as per the CDA governance and compliance process. You partner with and support the local CDA program teams to deliver outcomes that benefit the country/economies and Cisco.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management oversight of the CDA Programs
  • Success of the CDA projects in terms of ROI and Cisco market presence
  • Origination and Replication of successful CDA projects
  • Internal and External stakeholder management 
  • CDA budget & ROI planning & management for APJC South countries along with in country CDA execution leads and defining quarterly / yearly commit for the investment spend
  • Responsible for planning and executing a program
  • Perform all program management duties for CDA programs following a well-defined process of CDA acceleration.
  • Actual budget utilization and ROI tracking: Closely monitor the program executions for actual usage and Audit compliance. Additionally, work with different stakeholders for target ROI realizations
  • Enhanced Cisco reputation at the country level through project success stories and local engagement
  • Create a funnel for Cisco and develop a long-lasting relationship and Cisco mindshare with Government, consultants, partners, and system integrators.
  • Reporting: work on weekly/monthly/Quarterly reporting.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team (Procumbent, Finance, Payables, sales, Services, etc) for smooth execution and functioning of the CDA program.
  • Be able to support the design, development, presentation, and positioning of our CDA approach internally within Cisco and externally with customers and partners.
  • Expertise in program management, as well as demonstrated strengths in business, change management, technology, and strategic or analytical policy capabilities.
  • Work with a large virtual team & interact, report and drive projects to success directly with customers
  • Milestone and deliverable tracking & Maintaining compliance and records
  • Support Risk and Issue Management

This position will support the development and execution of Country Digital Acceleration programs in the APJC-South region reporting directly to the APJC South CDA Country Manager.



Who You Are

You have extensive sales or consultant experience in APJC with a knowledge of government and the public sector, engaging with senior executives, and have a great sense of collaboration and a results-driven mindset.  You take initiative, can handle a busy schedule with ease, and thrive in a busy environment.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • 10+ years in APJC sales/Business Development/Consultant/ Large program management environment
  • Outstanding track record of performance
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills across virtual and global teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Broad technology awareness
  • English language fluency required. Additional language used in ASEAN region would be plus
  • Excellent organization, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Comfortable collaborating with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to motivate and influence others
  • Bachelor’s degree required / MBA preferred
  • Experience working with government leaders and business executives in the technology industry is a plus
Employment History
  • Big 4 consulting background (would be preferred)
  • Technically proficient, understand PM principles and understand (conceptually) how to build from high level strategy into initiatives
  • Experience in managing large program
